Apartments in Valencia city
From characterful buildings in the centre to modern new-builds. I know the neighbourhoods and the streets, and I know what makes a location valuable.

I was born in Arnhem, grew up in Dronten and now live in Valencia. I guide buyers of a home in Valencia and the surrounding area, and investors in Valencia and Alicante. My strength lies in combining market knowledge with a level-headed view of what a home or investment is really worth to you.

I grew up in Dronten and studied entrepreneurship in Ede. Before I moved into real estate, I ran a marketing agency for property companies for years. We did online marketing, lead generation, social media and email marketing for estate agents, from one-person outfits to larger franchises, in countries such as Spain, Portugal and the United Arab Emirates.
Costa Select was one of those clients. After working together for about two years, Marc Stam asked me to move to Valencia and set up a new region there. That is how I ended up on this side of the table, from marketing to the guidance itself.
What I love about this work is that you can feel the product. Real estate is tangible, and people either have a good feeling about it or they don't, sometimes without being able to explain why. That is true even for investors: you would think it is only about the numbers, but without that feeling nine out of ten walk away. On top of that, I have loved architecture, building styles and ways of decorating my whole life.
Outside of work I am fairly calm. I love Spanish outdoor life, walking through Valencia, and I like to exercise outdoors with fitness and boxing. And I am a big chess enthusiast.

Just outside the city, where you find more space and quiet. I know the different locations and their characteristics.
Renovation apartments and development, for those who look beyond a home alone. Smart investing, with a level-headed view of both the numbers and the feeling.
I know Valencia inside out: the neighbourhoods, the streets, the restaurants and everything in between. In the area around the city too, I am at home in the different kinds of locations and what defines them.
My off-market listings come through a network of selling agents, developers and lawyers in the region. Every week they send me suitable properties, often before they appear on the market.
Valencia is a city like no other. Big, but it feels small. Easy-going and safe, with all amenities within reach, and a wide boulevard with a beach and restaurants. In my eyes the most beautiful city in Spain.
The standard Costa Select approach, the same for every client and every consultant. From the first introduction to well beyond the handover of the keys, we follow these five fixed phases.
Your goals, regions, budget and use. Together we build a search profile that fits. (2 to 4 weeks)
Property portals, off-market listings and our own network. You receive a short, carefully made shortlist. (4 to 8 weeks)
We negotiate on your behalf: without emotion, but sharp, based on comparable sales. (1 to 3 weeks)
Lawyer, valuation, technical inspection and tax calculation. We coordinate everything. (3 to 6 weeks)
Handover, keys, registration, insurance and aftercare in the first year. (1 to 2 weeks plus aftercare)

The word that comes up most often in my feedback is rational. I let people express their emotions, and then help them make a level-headed choice based on what they themselves called important earlier.
That works, because real estate is never purely reason or purely feeling. Even an investor with a good return walks away if the feeling is missing. My role is to bring those two together.
That is why I measure success not on the day of the purchase, but over the long term. If after a year or two you still feel exactly as you did on day one, then it is right.
One conversation, no obligations. We discuss your situation, I give honest advice, and you decide whether a follow-up makes sense.
