Renovation of your Spanish home. Own building surveyor, fixed builders

From a new kitchen to a full renovation or a new-build on your own plot. Our building surveyor leads the project, fixed Spanish builders carry out the work. Costa Select has guided more than 100 renovations.

Our approach

Renovate from a distance, with control on the ground

Why renovate. Renovating a home 2,000 km away is not the first thing that comes to mind, but as an investment it is often a considered choice. You negotiate better at purchase, renovate to your own taste and add value directly.

Own building surveyor. Every project is led by our building surveyor. He speaks the language of the builder and yours, safeguards quality on site and makes sure agreements are kept. You keep control without being there.

Clear budget. We draw up a detailed budget in advance. During the project you follow progress through regular updates and you pay as the build advances.

Fixed builders. The work lies with a fixed network of reliable Spanish builders. They know our standards and what Costa Select clients expect.

From a distance
You do not have to be in Spain to follow your renovation. Through photos, video updates and regular progress moments you stay fully informed. Many of our clients see their home in its renovated state for the first time at handover.

How we deliver this service

One project lead, fixed contractors

Our building surveyor steers every project on quality, budget and schedule. The work lies with fixed Spanish builders we have been working with for years.

Fixed partnersThe contractors

The renovation is carried out by a builder from our fixed network

  • Five fixed builders in Andalucía and Costa Blanca
  • We work with several architects for permit-requiring works
  • A Dutch-speaking interior architect can help you with the styling and the complete interior. Based on moodboards and a visit in the Netherlands or Belgium you get to work together with her.
  • We work with a garden architect who knows the local trees and plants inside out for the perfect Mediterranean look.
Our process

From the first survey to handover

Small jobs (bathroom, kitchen) take 6 to 12 weeks. Larger renovations 3 to 6 months. Work can usually begin within 4 weeks of signing.

    Survey & wishes

Visit on site, recording your wishes, a photo survey of the current condition.
