It had long been a strong wish to escape the grey northern climate, especially in the winter months. The exploratory meeting in the Netherlands with Marc was very illuminating and also reassuring and confirming. The honest and transparent communication gave us confidence right away. Our search in Spain was superbly guided by Denise. We had made our housing requirements clear beforehand, and they were listened to well.

From the very first phone contact with Marc all the way to the handover together with Denise, a really trusted feeling! We were guided superbly throughout the whole process. We are very happy with our lovely apartment in Jardines de Bolonia (Javea) and grateful for the superb service from Marc and Denise of Costa Select.

To start with, I have to admit that we had been looking at properties abroad for years. With retirement approaching and, for us, a pleasant climate and a country with character being important factors, we ended up at the Costa Blanca in Spain! But then: to make this dream come true we had to take a step further. Who knows the way through this jungle of houses and important matters?

A house in Spain had been a dream since childhood. After doing two years of research myself, I kept coming back to the Costa Select website. This past April I finally got in touch with Marc to schedule an introductory meeting. We found this first conversation with Marc very pleasant.

We came into contact with Costa Select through word of mouth, after friends had good experiences. July 2023 was the first introduction at the office in the Netherlands and we hit it off right away. After that we immediately planned a viewing trip for September. The first week in Spain was all about arranging practical things (bank account, NIE number, power of attorney, etc.).

We can only say that we have had tremendously good experiences with Costa Select. After first doing an extensive internet search ourselves to give shape to our wish for a Spanish home, we ended up with Marc. An appointment in Amersfoort was quickly made after that. Marc gave our enthusiasm about a house in Spain a realistic mirror. Denise then took us under her wing in the Costa Blanca itself.

At Costa Select a whole world opened up for us. During our first visit to the office in Amersfoort, Marc Stam gave us a good explanation of, among other things, the finances and the rules that apply in Spain. Just that bit more, and clearer, information than we had been given elsewhere. Marc also pointed us straight to a house that might be something for our family. A house we had overlooked.

We had been looking around in Moraira for about half a year and, thanks to Denise of Costa Select, found the perfect house for us there. But after the purchase we still needed a bit of financing, and Marc Stam helped us find the right bank in Spain. Denise was and is our rock in Moraira; she really helped us very well with everything.

We had been searching in the northern Costa Blanca for a couple of years to find the nicest and most beautiful house there. Through Costa Select's wonderfully clear website we ended up with Marc, who explained the positive and less positive sides of it all. He also put us in touch with a good bank and an experienced notary in the Netherlands and Spain. Those are useful and reliable contacts.

Through our neighbours, who had a very positive experience with Costa Select some years ago, we came into contact with Marc Stam. During an introduction at the office in Amersfoort, Marc told us all about buying a house on the Costa Blanca and also about how Costa Select works.

After fifteen years of searching on the Costa Blanca, we knew what was for sale. Thanks to the attentive ear of Marc Stam and Jasmijn we could search with focus: houses every day, and every time honest advice about what did and did not suit us. We found our dream home and were helped with everything, from the negotiation right through to the entire renovation.

We ended up with Marc Stam through Mondi and through an acquaintance who had already bought a house via Marc earlier. Because we had already planned a viewing trip ourselves, there was no way at that point to hold the first introductory meeting in Amersfoort. But Marc was able to act quickly so that we could see various houses during the planned trip. Denise guided us through this very kindly.

Buying a house abroad is a dream that can be quite nerve-racking, simply because you are not familiar with the laws and regulations of that country. The language is not your mother tongue. So the most important thing is to find someone who supports you in it. Marc Stam helped us to a dream house. For a week we worked closely together and looked at many different houses in different locations.

My wife and I bought a house in Spain in the middle of the coronavirus crisis with the help of Costa Select. After an introduction with Marc in early 2020, we were given a clear account of the guidance. At that moment we could not yet judge whether these fine words would also be turned into deeds.

Our first introduction to Costa Select was with Marc at the office in Amersfoort. We had a pleasant conversation and were given a lot of information. In the summer of 2021 we went exploring with Jasmijn (our agent from Costa Select). Jasmijn took plenty of time for us and told us very honestly what the pros and cons were of living in a particular area.

The role of Costa Select, Jasmijn Popken, a decisive factor in our current happiness in Spain. I did not have to think very long about that sentence. After we had decided to move to Spain for good, we got in touch with Costa Select and made an appointment at our home with Marc Stam. Clear information about what was and was not possible; it actually felt right straight away.

Through word of mouth we ended up with Marc Stam of Costa Select in Baarn. We were orienting ourselves for a house on the Costa Blanca. This introduction went so well that we felt no need to look around with other agents. On our third trip to Spain, together with Sara Spellemans of Costa Select, we found `our little place`. We are very satisfied with the information, the purchase guidance and the aftercare.

For health reasons, plans to emigrate took shape. Because of the climate, Spain soon came into view. We quickly gathered information about houses. This brought us into contact with Costa Select, in the person of Marc Stam. A very pleasant first conversation with someone who knows his business. We were put in touch with his colleague Jasmijn Popken in Spain.

In the search for a house in Javea in Spain, we (Niels, Wendy and kids 9, 11, 13) let ourselves be guided and supported from the start by Marc Stam of Costa Select. We could not have made a better choice. In a few key words: professional, knowledgeable, service-oriented, independent, transparent, cooperative, very friendly, reliable and a local network that is second to none.

Of the ten or so agents we had `called in` during the first week of May (2109) in our search for a house on the Costa Blanca, we had an immediate click with Sara of Costa Select from the very first meeting (on our first day).

Sara is a wonderful person, passionate about her work and, very importantly, she reads people. She quickly understood who we were and what we wanted.

Because of the fresh look of the website and the match with homes that seemed worth visiting, we had shortlisted Costa Select alongside a number of other agents. Approachable and, also very important, she knows her business and has a large network.

I received very professional guidance. On top of that, Sara was kindness itself; all in all a very pleasant experience.

Costa Select keeps to its agreements, and that is important when you buy a house abroad while you are in the Netherlands yourself. Margriet guided and advised me well on the spot. The result was a swift purchase of the property. Thank you, Margriet.

From the start of our contact everything went smoothly. We were lucky to find our lovely house after 12 viewings. Suddenly there was a click. Jasmijn negotiated excellently and we were fully aware of all the costs. Through Jasmijn and Marc Stam we were assigned a lawyer, bank manager and building surveyor. That was very reassuring for what was, after all, a nerve-racking undertaking.

For a long time my husband had really wanted to buy a house in the Calpe/Benissa area. After being in that region a few times, I had to admit he was right that it felt like home, and I became enthusiastic too. But how do you go about something like that? You finally make such a decision, but it is exciting and so scary. Who do you trust, and will you not be taken for a ride like on those TV programmes?

The first pleasant conversations with Marc Stam were in the Netherlands. It was important to us to have a point of contact both in the Netherlands and in Spain. Our search in the Javea area was guided entirely by Jasmijn. After an intensive three-day search we had made up our minds. Thanks to the expertise of the whole Costa Select team, our confidence was 100%.

We came into contact with Costa Select in early March 2016 after being tipped off about them by my sister, who together with her husband had also bought a house in Denia via Costa Select in 2015 and said they were very satisfied with Costa Select. We too were interested in buying a house in that region, but we did not really know the area. The first conversation was at our home in Utrecht with Marc Stam.

Through a contact I came into touch with Marc Stam. We were toying with ideas of buying a villa in Spain, but had no idea how to go about it. Marc initially saved us, on his own initiative, from a bad purchase, for which we are very grateful to him. After that we did manage to find and buy our dream house with him. Together with his network we renovated and can now fully enjoy our new home. Marc Stam and his network are an absolute must for anyone who wants to buy a house in Spain.

I got to know Marc Stam in the Netherlands. He came to visit us in person, which immediately gave a good feeling and inspired enough confidence to continue with him. The search with Jasmijn made the whole thing complete. They understood our wishes well. In the end we found a house ourselves via a local website and sent it to Costa Select to arrange everything.

From a client of Marc Stam I heard the success story about the purchase of his home in Moraira. Since I was on the verge of wanting to fulfil my dream wish, 'a home in Spain', I got in touch with Marc. After a pleasant phone call, Marc offered to come by to get acquainted and to talk about my dream wish.

What started with a weekend in Javea almost 10 years ago has now led to the purchase of our dreams. Every year our wish to one day buy a house in Javea grew. Four years ago I therefore got in touch with Marc Stam. I wanted to find out what buying a house in Spain actually involves. I am someone who does not like to be caught out by surprises. Marc invited me to his office.

Through family who had bought a home in Spain via Costa Select a few years ago, we came into contact with Marc Stam. As we ourselves had rarely visited the Spanish mainland before, quite a lot of information was first exchanged by email. We came into contact with Costa Select by chance. Marc Stam paid a first exploratory visit to our home in the Netherlands and noted down our wishes. The visit was very pleasant and Marc immediately provided an initial orientation on the market and the area. In Spain we were guided by Lucette. Lucette is extremely well versed in the area, the market situation and the houses on the market.

After an extraordinarily informative evening with Marc Stam, during which our wish list for a home in Spain was already adjusted somewhat, in July 2013 we explored the Costa Blanca together with Marc and saw many houses, with the profile we were looking for being adjusted daily. Within a week we found the house we clicked with immediately. All of this resulted in the purchase at the end of September.

After months of research we suddenly discovered the Costa Select agency. We noticed right away that the information given on the website was very clear and well organised. When I sent a message to the office, we immediately received a reply from Lucette. When we visited Spain to see a number of houses, the meeting with her on the third day was a real breath of fresh air.

Through the internet we came into contact with Lucette. Lucette arranged a nice place for us to stay overnight. From the very first moment we had a good and reassured feeling. The fourth time we came over to view houses, we had found our dream little home. Marc and Lucette managed to arrange everything within two weeks (it could not be faster) for the purchase at the notary. Lucette supported us there too.

We spent a number of months searching for our new house in Moraira. On the advice of a good friend of ours, we came into contact with Marc. We clicked immediately and Marc quickly understood exactly what we were looking for. We were well guided during our search and in the end found our dream house.

Marc Stam of Costa Select guided us excellently for several years. He had a good sense of how we wanted to shape our search. Costa Select proved to be a reliable and indispensable partner in finding the dream house that we, too, have found.

We are very satisfied with the service provided by Marc Stam of Costa Select. After years of daydreaming, three years ago we took the step of actively searching for a second home in Spain. With Marc's help this succeeded, in December 2012. Now, almost 12 months later, we can say that we are very happy with our villa.

By pure chance we (Gert and Mirjam) came into contact with Marc Stam of Costa Select. I (Gert) was training a new colleague, and it came up that I was looking for a house in Spain, whereupon she advised me to get in touch with Marc Stam. According to her, a very reliable and serious person whom she knew through a very good friend. I thought there is no harm in making enquiries without obligation.

Nothing but praise for Costa Select's honest, professional and yet good-natured approach. After a nasty experience with another property agency (read: property cowboys), Costa Select helped us to our dream house in Alcalalí. They had a very good sense of what our desires were in combination with our budget. The search was well prepared and timed at a pleasant pace.
