Calpe V

The villa sits on a sloping plot of 1,079 m² with a south-east orientation. The design moves as little soil as possible, so the building follows the natural relief of the terrain. The house has an L-shape, which leaves a large part of the plot open. One wing has two floors, the other one. All rooms face south or east and look out over the sea, the Peñón de Ifach and the adjoining woodland.

The ground floor of the eastern wing holds the kitchen, the dining room and a living room with a fireplace. The kitchen looks out over the garden and the pool. These spaces open onto traditional verandas with a reed covering, which draw the outdoor space into the living area.

On the ground floor, the south wing contains a spacious living room that opens to the outside and also gives onto a sunken patio. That patio provides cross ventilation and brings daylight into a multifunctional space that can be used as a music room, a gym or a playroom. From the living room you reach the main bedroom, which is therefore separate from the bedrooms on the upper floor. In this suite the dressing room and the bathroom connect to each other without having to pass through the sleeping area, and there is a private access to a covered terrace with a veranda.

The upper floor has two bedrooms and three bathrooms, linked by a continuous balcony on the sea side. There is also a living area that can be set up as a third bedroom, with access to two terraces facing each other. In total the villa comes to four bedrooms and 675 m² of built area.
