How long does it take to build
In the case of a traditional build the whole project, including the selection of the plot and obtaining the necessary building licenses usually takes between 18 months to two years. The time required for license application and processing may however vary from town to town.
Should you decide to choose faster building methods i.e. a prefab home, this can reduce total time to around 10 to 12 months

Phases in the building process:
Throughout the actual building work there are a number of stages which measure and control the quality of materials used, the quality of construction and that guarantee the proper connection to the water and electricity systems. The technical architect will need to grant permission to proceed with the building at each of these stages, so ensuring the quality of the build.
